The RESET Initiative is an effective and uplifting 7-minutes-a-day program of exercises designed to create the highest social, emotional, and intellectual health in children. The purpose of The RESET Initiative is to experience childhood with feelings of self-empowerment and self-love, while developing intellectual curiosity and social and academic skills. We believe this program contributes to the foundation of childhood by bringing out the best in each child as a result of the exercises and becomes the platform for a happy, healthy, and productive adulthood. We invite you to introduce The RESET Initiative in your classroom, school, home or afterschool program and watch children blossom from the effects.
Taught together, these exercises produced sustained, positive emotional and physiological results in and outside the classroom. Children who practice with The RESET Initiative regularly communicate that they feel physically, mentally and emotionally peaceful and ready to take on new challenges. Adults who guide children through The RESET Initiative report greater feelings of stress relief and motivation to teach as they see the results in the classroom, in afterschool programs, and at home.
This program is appropriate for children ages 4-7 (preK through second grade).
The RESET Initiative HELPS
Provides a method to think more clearly under pressure (such as reading aloud or in testing scenarios)
Maximizes left- and right-brain capacity so students can achieve greater intellectual potential in all areas of study
Gives students effective tools to regain inner peacefulness and reconnect with a sense of feeling secure within themselves
Increases success in and out of the classroom in terms of mindful communication
Assists students prior to and during test periods to calmly and mindfully focus on the task at hand
The exercises introduce a regular practice of smiling, encouraging resilience and a positive mental attitude. It also fosters openness, self-confidence and the ability to share oneself with others
While the program is short in daily duration (7 minutes), repetition of these exercises increases neurogenesis, the creation of development of neurons within the brain for enhanced comprehension and communication. It also creates a foundation for growing or regaining self-esteem. The RESET Initiative supports the idea of flexible thinkers who respond rather than react and better navigate their lives and contribute to a healthy environment.
The RESET Initiative:
How does it work?
It is a seven-minute series of breathing exercises designed to be appropriate for a child’s lung capacity, with defined movements and sounds or words that are empowering and fun. Customizable components make it possible to create new 7-minute programs daily. There is an option for initial online training as well, that shows teachers/educators/facilitators how to implement the program. Additional follow-up support is available for questions and discussion.
Our growing library contains exercises to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Each exercise addresses a particular goal, such as concentration, increasing happiness, and/or focus, as seen below.
Here is a sample exercise you can try!
1 – Bring hands up to the chest with palms facing outward. Make a claw shape with the hands
2 – Circle the hands forward quickly and with purpose as if you are making a tunnel through the earth with your fingers. You can make sounds like the growl of a tiger while you continue the exercise. The hands move in a circle, with each hand alternating, rather than moving in sync with one another. Students can increase their pace as they go.
Emotional: Relieves emotional difficulties and brings a feeling of accomplishment and calm. Helps students change from an unwilling or unmotivated attitude to a willing and powerful attitude
Physical: Improves the flow of energy and increases healthy oxygenation and blood circulation
Duration of exercise: 2 minutes

Our yearly subscription rate allows you access to our complete and growing library. You can potentially create over 2,000 daily, three-exercise combinations, including video, audio and text guidance for each one, along with an explanation of physical, mental, and emotional benefits. We also include free online training, should you need support. Our intention behind the idea of a yearly subscription gives you the ability to work with the exercises and see progress over time. Author, entrepreneur, and educator Dana Abraham established The RESET Initiative global learning platform to help children worldwide experience inner calm and capability, emotional and mental wellbeing, as well as self-empowerment.
Dana is the founder of The Grandmother Tree Foundation, which champions innovative projects designed to increase human health, peace, and happiness. One such project is her book “In The Arms of the Grandmother Tree,” published by Six Roses Press, which is designed to connect children (of all ages) with the joy, peace, and love inside themselves to build emotional strength, resilience, and intelligence. Her book has been translated into eight languages, including Braille and distributed in over 23 countries. Dana’s current role at The RESET Initiative represents her further dedication to creating endeavors that benefit and uplift humankind.
Dana earned her bachelor’s degree in English and French literature from Vassar College, studied in Paris through Columbia University, and earned her Master’s degree in French literature from New York University. She has worked in International Relations at the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as spent over three decades in publishing as an editor and freelance proofreader of fiction, non-fiction, scientific and academic textbooks, and travel guides. Additionally, she spent more than ten years in the financial world, working for Standard and Poor’s, ING Barings, and Morgan Stanley.
Dana Abraham is devoted to her husband, Jules, and her son, Jake, who she considers to be the very best parts of her life. Her sincere desire is that everyone who experiences The RESET Initiative will feel the gift of the program’s strengths to increase mindfulness, improve physical coordination, and enhance intellectual and emotional capacity in children. Dr. Joseph Michael Levry is a scholar, author, composer, and international speaker. An engineer by training, Dr. Levry earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees of Science in Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of New York and also holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Metaphysical Science from the Institute of Metaphysical Humanistic Science. He is also the CEO and founder of Rootlight, Inc., a publishing and production company devoted to quantum healing and philosophical study. Dr. Levry has changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people with his unifying message of harnessing the deep healing power of unconditional love, global peace, and embracing service to others. From leading massive Global Gatherings for Peace and Healing, to groundbreaking work in music scientifically designed and later demonstrated to heal, to empowering youth from elementary to university levels with impactful programs and transformational lectures worldwide, Dr. Levry carries a universal and actionable message of healing and peace for today’s world.
Dr. Levry’s vast body of educational material is evidence of his lifelong commitment to education, mentorship, and research. Ten extensive certification courses and lifestyle programs emphasize scientific exploration into human anatomy, physiology, neurology and endocrinology and integrate those with the Eastern and Occidental metaphysical philosophy perspective of the body. Subjects range from fertility and prenatal health to the optimization of the brain and nervous system, and extensive physical applications pertaining to total wellness and specific health challenges.
Dr. Levry’s extensively developed curriculum, in addition to his seven books translated into multiple languages, serve as the primary knowledge base for students. In the field of music, Dr. Levry has produced over 50 albums comprised of mathematically produced healing vibrations. In a recent medical study, neuroscientists at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City used selections from Dr. Levry’s Healing Beyond Medicine music series to reduce pain in children undergoing cancer treatment. This pilot findings were published in the Journal of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology.
Dr. Levry is devoted to helping children and youth with his many public appearances and online presence. At the United Nations headquarters in New York City, as part of IMUNA’s 46th annual National High School Model United Nations Conference, Dr. Levry led more than 3,000 brilliant young minds from over 809 countries in a series of captivating and engaging lectures, giving the leaders of tomorrow practical tools for success, energy management, and confidence. As a keynote speaker, Dr. Levry emphasized the power of service and lighting the path for others, as a way of brightening one’s own path in life.
He was a guest lecturer at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa, teaching tools and techniques to university students to help them successfully manage issues such as information overload, high suicide rates, feelings of isolation caused by social media, and misuse of drugs. Students learned movements to reduce stress and depression, practiced breathwork to improve memory, focus, and clarity, as well as techniques to build self-confidence.
Dr. Levry has led hundreds of thousands of people around the world in massive Global Gatherings for Peace and Healing Superclasses. Since the first superclass in 2011, attendance has grown exponentially from 12,000 people participating in Zocalo Square in Mexico City to over 318,000 people in person and around the world in an internationally televised event.
He has personally consulted over 90,000 people in areas of health, family, psychological wellbeing and career advancement.
